About the Gîtes

Three bedroom Gîte The 1st gîte has three bedrooms with separate toilet and shower room. There is a first floor terrace facing south with unspoilt views over the local mountains (have an evening barbecue on the terrace facing the setting sun - beautiful). This leads from the open plan kitchen/dining/living area.

The gîte is fully equipped and electrically heated. The weekly cost includes all linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases & towels) and water. There is a meter for the electricity which will be read on arrival and departure, (September to May), the cost of which will be deducted from the deposit at the end of the week.

There is a communal pay washing machine, the tokens for which are available from us as required. The gîte must be vacated on the Saturday morning by 11.00hrs and arrival will be after 16.00hrs. When you leave the gîte, you have the option to clean it yourself but if you prefer, we will clean it for you and a charge will be levied.

One bedroom Gîte The 2nd gîte has two single beds or a double (please state at time of booking which is required). There is a large bathroom and a open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area.
Prices and booking

Both gîtes have dvd players, cd players and televisions. There is also a safety deposit box in each gîte.

On arrival, there will be an inventory left for you to check at your leisure. This will be checked with us at the time of departure and any discrepancies rectified.
We would also appreciate no smoking in the gîtes - there is always the terrace for smokers in the 6 person gite.

Animals are welcome and as you will see, we have a few ourselves - dogs, cats, ducks, goats, peacocks and chickens.

To find us, if you are arriving from Ambert, you drive along the D906 until you get to Arlanc. As you drive up the incline into the town, there is a sign on the left-hand side of the road, D38a that directs you to Beurrières. Take this road for 100 meters. You will see a large builders merchants (Tout Faire) in front of you and a small road on the left-hand side that runs along its perimeter called Rue des Vergers. Take this road and at the 'T' junction at the end, turn left. After about 500 meters, you pass under a railway bridge and immediately after, there is a turning on the left to Coisse.

Continue on for 1 km and you come to the village. Take the left-hand turning - the road weaves round to the right then at the cross, turn left and the château is on the right - you will recognise the gateway.

If you arriving from Le Puy-en-Velay, 100 meters after you cross the railway line, there is a turning on the right D38 directing you to Beurrières. After about 1 km, there is another sign for Beurrières on the right - take this road and you will go past the Super U garage on your right. Keep going on this road until you go under the railway bridge. Immediately after, turn left to Coisse and follow the instructions above.
