Listed below are a few of the facilities/services that are available locally in Arlanc.

- Super U Supermarket is open 7 days a week (except for some Saints days) from 9.00hrs to 19.00hrs Monday to Saturday and from 9.00hrs to 12.00hrs on a Sunday. It also has a petrol garage with an attendant for the same hours as the shop but also has the advantage of being a 24 hour Credit Card station.
- The 2 Pharmacies are open from 8.30 - 12.15 & 15.00 - 19.15 Monday to Saturday and from 9.30 - 12.00 on a Sunday.
- The Post Office is open 6 days a week from 9.00 - 12.00 & 14.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
- There is a Library which is open most of the summer.
- There are both doctors and dentists in Arlanc. There is also a vet for those people who bring pets.
- The Tourist Information office is open 6 days a week both mornings and afternoons.
- A photo shop in the village can develop your films in 48 hours.
- There are 2 tobacconists which both open 7 days a week.
- The 2 Bakeries are open 7 days a week.
- The newsagents sell British papers for those who have to keep up-to-date with all the current events.
